Martha Ruth Szara

Age 77, of Frankfort formerly longtime of Palos Hills, passed away Tuesday, July 13th, 2021.

Martha is survived by her loving family; husband Wayne Szara, Sr.; children Wayne (Colleen) Szara, Jr., Steven (Laura) Szara and Dana (Brett) Christeon; siblings Mike (Rose) Capps, Jan Capps and Jean Case; grandchildren Lauren, Jason, Erin and Riley Szara, Zachary and Nathaniel Christeon.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Agnes “Ludine” (French) Capps and her brother Jerry Capps.

Martha was a school nurse for Oak Ridge School District 117 in Palos Hills for many years.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
