Mary E. Krueger (nee Ormsby)

Age 87 of New Lenox passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, IL. Mary was born in Evergreen Park, IL to the late Emmett and Helen (nee Harty) Ormsby. Loving mother of Robert (Stephanie) Krueger, Mary (Rick) Marks, Karen (Michael) Bowsher, and Patty (Mike) Potocki; cherished grandmother of John (Nina) Bowsher, Cody Marks, Kelli Krueger, Emily Bowsher, Benjamin (Megan) Marks, William Krueger, Jamie Bowsher, Will Marks, Lydia Potocki, Robert Krueger, and Mikey Potocki; proud great grandmother of Maja Bowsher and Olivia Marks; dear sister of 11, who preceded her in death; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was an avid writer and took part in many writing groups. She was also a member of Al-Anon. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mary’s name would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 3:00pm until time of Service at 7:00pm. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL will be private.
