Age 85, of Mokena, formerly of Bourbonnais, passed away, Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at her home in Mokena.

Mary Ethel is survived by her loving family, Brian (Christine) Cash, MaryKay (Andrew) Lyczak, Christy (Mark) Johnson, brother, Jerry Willett, son-in-law, Jack Schultz, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ezra & Mary Christine Willett (Merritt), husband, James Gerald Cash, daughters, Laura Cash, Barbara Schultz, siblings, Linda Carrico, Stella Cash, Joseph Willett and Merritt Willett.

Mary Ethel was a lifelong devoted member of her Catholic faith serving the church as a CCD teacher and member of CCW. She was a stay at home mom for many years and then entered the work place as a secretary at Governors State University. In her retirement she loved to travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 11:30 AM and proceed to St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th, Ave., Mokena, IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 PM.
