Age 51, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, after a long, courageous, battle with cancer. Jen was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Celeste (nee Kordelewski) Lang. Beloved wife of Michael Tannura; loving mother of Natalie Tannura, Abbey Tannura, and Samantha Tannura; dear sister of Joe Lang and Steve Lang; loved aunt and dear friend of many. Jen graduated from Maria High School (Class of 1989), and St. Xavier University. She was a cherished Language Arts Teacher at Laraway Consolidated School District 70C in Joliet, IL and won Joliet’s Greatest Teacher Award. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox, IL. Jen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2pm – 6pm. Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 24, 2022 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
