MARY M. SWEET (PERLONGO)

Age 67 of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 at Lightways Hospice House in Joliet. 

Mary is survived by her loving family, husband, Steven Sweet, daughters, Jennifer (Dwayne) Higginbotham, Julie (Dimitrios) Nakos, grandchildren, Zachary Gryczewski, Samuel Gryczewski, Reed Gryczewski, Anastasia Nakos, Theodore Nakos, sister, Barbara Falkenthal, niece and nephews, Jospeh Perlongo, Thomas Perlongo, Catherine Boesch, great niece and nephew, Julia Boesch and Nathaniel Boesch.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Catherine Perlongo (Moriarty), brothers, Thomas Perlongo and Paul Perlongo. 

Mary retired from Proven IT in Tinley Park after many years of service. She greatly enjoyed living her life to the fullest with her family, friends and especially loved being “GiGi” to her grandchildren. 

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, December 13th, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
