Mary Therese Fisher

Mary Therese Fisher, age 84, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, April 5,
2021.
Mary was a resident of the New Lenox area for the past 45 years and previously of Tinley Park and
Chicago. Mary was a devout Catholic and proud parishioner of Saint Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox.
She was the co-owner of Tom’s Hot Dogs in Joliet and worked as an office clerk at Block and Krockey
Law firm for over 20 years.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Patricia (William) Mangin, Thomas (Gwen) Fisher Jr., Jane
(Steven) Haney, Michael (Shannon) Fisher, Matthew (Christine) Fisher, John (Donna) Fisher, Daniel
(Nancy) Fisher, Brian (Michelle) Fisher, and Therese Mary Fisher; grandchildren, Colleen Mangin, Joseph
Mangin, Thomas Fisher, III, Anne Celine Shiley, Luke Fisher, Kyle Haney, Colin Haney, Cameron Haney,
Sean Fisher, Margaret Fisher, Aidan Fisher, Ella Fisher, Kaden Fisher, John Fisher, Alexandra Fisher, Anna
Fisher, Joshua Fisher, Aaron Fisher, Sarah Fisher, David Fisher, Quinton Fisher, Ryan Slattery; great
Grandchildren, Lucy Fisher, Ellsie Fisher, Nellie Fisher, Adeline Shiley; brother Bobby Moran; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas A. Fisher Sr. and her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services for Mary will begin with a visitation on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 1pm-6pm at Kurtz Memorial
Chapel in New Lenox. The following day there will be a brief visitation at the Memorial Chapel at 8:30
am on Monday, until the time of chapel prayers at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at
Saint Jude Catholic Church at 10 am. Mary will be laid to rest at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet. MASKS AND
SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED AT ALL SERVICES. NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING
AT THIS TIME.
