Treharne, Mary (Morse, nee Balotti) (Grandma Gum), age 91, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
Born in Mark, IL on Dec. 15, 1924. A resident of Joliet, IL since 1948. Preceded in death by first husband, Daniel Morse (1968), second husband, William Treharne (1984), mother (Mary), father (Battista), 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Survived by brother, Eugene (Bertha) Ballatti, two sons, David (dec'd Joan) (friend Nancy Miller) Morse, Daniel (Jeanette) Morse, and two daughters, Karen (Joseph) Harvat and Susan (Henry) Errek and dear friend, John Lovati. Also surviving are her beloved 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Retired from Illinois Veteran's Affairs Office in 1990. Member of Cantigny Post VFW#367 Ladies' Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet, Joliet, IL. Memorials to VITAS Hospice or your favorite charity will be appreciated.
