Age 88, passed away on Thursday, November 6th, 2014 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman, Michigan.

Melva is survived by her loving family, daughter, Cynthia (William) Minnear, siblings, Nyla Starr, Joyce Brown, Bonnie Phelps, grandchildren, Lyal Lauth IV, Michael (Shelley) Lauth, Jennifer Wanda, Amy (Todd) Kittle, Rebecca (Andrew) Brand, Elizbeth Minnear and seven great grandchildren.

Melva was preceded in death by her husband, Lyal Lauth, Jr., sons, Donald Lauth, Lyal Lauth III, siblings, Minerva Blanck, Dianna Frey, Viola Mueller and Warren Mueller.

Melva was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Joliet.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 12th, 2014 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451.
