74, of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2016. He was born in Chicago to the late Hilbert and Esther (nee Bauman) Weidner. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Monaco); loving father of Brett Weidner and Jenna (Teddy) Wozny; cherished grandpa of Bingham Michael Wozny; dear brother of the late Donna (the late Skip) Carney; fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Melvin was the former Owner and President of Gorman Drywall Contractors. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL, 60451on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM. Interment private.
