MICHAEL A. PODGORNY SR.

Age 69, of Mokena, passed away on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.

Michael is survived by his loving family, wife, Alicia Podgorny (Rodriguez), mother, Gloria Podgorny (Panozzo), sons, Robert (Rachel) Andre, Michael (Kelly) Podgorny Jr., sister, Susan (Edwin) Bear, grandchildren, Giovanni Podgorny, Claire Andre, Frankie Andre, Evelyn Andre, Zachary Andre.  He was also a proud and beloved cousin and uncle to many nieces and nephews over the years.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Robert Podgorny.

Michael was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort. He specialized in restaurant, retail and hospitality commercial construction. He was an avid golfer and member of Prestwick Country Club in Frankfort. From an early age he took to the drums as a musician and was always a car enthusiast.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, December 7th, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, December 8th, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment, Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood IL.
