Michael E. "Bumstead" Linstead

Michael E. “Bumstead” Linstead, age 56, a lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet after a 11 year and 3 month battle with cancer. Loving father of Victoria and Addison Linstead; beloved son of Barbara Linstead; dearest brother of Christina “Tina” (Doug) Pirc; fond uncle of Tom (Fiancee Shanna) Arnold, Jr., Jennifer (Mark) Viano, Brittany Pirc and Matthew (Lily) Pirc; proud great uncle of Aubrey Viano and Frank Viano. He is also survived by Nina Ortega. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Linstead and his siblings twins Mary and Joseph Linstead. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Michael’s family would be appreciated. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox IL 60451 on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, with a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Michael's family would be appreciated.
