Michael G. Zemaitis

Michael G. Zemaitis, age 64, a resident of New Lenox formerly of Midlothian and Harvey, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Loving father of Raechel Zemaitis; beloved son of the late George and Helen (Hanachek) Zemaitis; dearest brother of Joseph (Nancy) Zukauskas, Alan (Barbara) Zemaitis and Daniel Zemaitis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Michael was a C.P.A. and owner of Zemaitis and Associates Limited in New Lenox and Oak Forest, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Midlothian Police Pension Board. He loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. ALL IN ATTENDENCE FOR VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME.
