70, of Lockport, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Michael was born in Chicago to the late Irvin and Marie (nee Harper) Bailey. Loving father of Tracy Bailey and Marie Bailey; cherished grandfather of Chase Bailey and Reaghan Downing; dear brother of Sandy (Bob) Becht, Linda (Mark) Molitor, the late James (Molly) Bailey, the late William (the late Darla) Bailey, and the late Patricia Gillespie. Michael was a U.S. army Veteran. He retired from Waymore, as a truck driver, after 20 years of service. Due to COVID-19 and IDPH Guidelines private family services were held. Inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date.
