Age 38 of Joliet, passed away on Saturday, April 11th, 2015.

Michael is survived by his loving family, wife, Stephanie Janicek (Vega), parents, Richard & Gayla Janicek (Rokosz), father & mother in law, Joe & Rachel Vega (Sanchez), children, Victor Janicek, Santonio Janicek, Tristina Blair, twin brother, Daniel Janicek, sisters, Julie Janicek, Kathryn Janicek, nieces & nephews, Avery, Olivia, Natalia and Jacob.

Michael was a member of Pipe Fitters Local #597 as well as Founder and Coach of the Providence Catholic High School Lacrosse program. He was also the Lacrosse Coach for the Lincolnway Wolves.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451. Funeral service, Thursday, April 16th, 2015 with prayers at the funeral home at 10:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Street, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
