Michael J. Papak

Michael J. Papak, age 69, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. 

He is survived by his loving siblings, Patricia (George) Kettering, Robert (Lisa) Papak, and William (Daisy) Papak; nieces and nephews, Robert (Wendy) Kettering, Susan (David) Murray, Michelle Kettering, Emily Papak, Evan Papak, Keith (Anna) Pryen, Alex Papak, and Miranda (Anthony) Lipuma; and five great nieces and nephews. 

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and June Papak; and his sister Susan Papak. 

Everyone who knew Mike saw not only a compassionate, warm, and kind but also a strong-willed and independent person. Mike was an avid reader and a talented artist from his youth, often times gifting those around him with his work. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, most especially his nieces and nephews. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
