Age 66, of Mokena, IL passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 21, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, IL to the late Rolley V. and Wilma (nee Kisner) Sinks. Michael is survived by his loving family; his wife Ruth (nee Maurer); his daughters, Michelle (Joseph) Pierce and Erin (Bryan) Janeliunas; grandchildren, Jacob, Aiden and Isabella Janeliunas; a sister Carole (fiancé William Schaubel) Jadron; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother David and a sister Teresa Sinks. Michael was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the AVON Club. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 3 – 8PM. Funeral Service Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL.
