MIRAN W. ALBRECHT

Age 81, passed away peacefully with his wife and daughters at his side, Monday, March 4^th, 2024 at Lightways Hospice House in Joliet.                   

Miran is survived by his loving family, wife, Carol Albrecht (DeMarco), children, Michelle Marie (Dan) Holda, Christine Marie (Mark) Cagwin, son in-law, Robert Mueller Jr., siblings, Geraldine (Norman) Szewczyk, Ronald (Judith) Albrecht, grandchildren, Lynn (Peter) Marquardt, Robert (Cailin) Mueller III, Thomas Canada, Darian Holda, Torin Holda, Kieran Holda, Rachel Cagwin, Anna Cagwin, Joshua Cagwin, great grandchild, Jordan Marquardt, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and beloved pet Sassy.   

Miran was preceded in death by his parents, Matt & Marie Albrecht (Placzkowski) and daughter Paula Marie Mueller.

Miran was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park and owner and operator of Gitter & Siovic.  He was a 1960 graduate of St. Francis deSales High School in Chicago as well as member and officer of the South Chicago Chamber of Commerce, President of the Torrence Park Improvement Association, member of Kiwanis and volunteer for Alliance for the Children.       

Family will receive friends at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL on Friday, March 8^th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 9^th, 2024 from 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 9:30 AM.   Interment, Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park IL.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Alliance for the Children, (www.allianceforthechildren.com) 1817 Central Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062 would be greatly appreciated.
