Beloved husband of Jacki nee Erickson; loving son of Wayne and Elizabeth Smith; dear brother of Joseph (Lina) Smith and Michael Smith; cherished son-in-law of Craig and Deborah Erickson and brother-in-law of Jeff (Gina) Erickson and Theresa Erickson; treasured uncle of Logan, Gianna, Anthony, and Ethan; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved boxer "Pepper." Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 3-9 PM. Funeral service Thursday, June 18, 2015 with chapel prayers at 9:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Mokena, IL.
