Charles Siano Jr.
Charles Siano, 91, passed away peacefully Oct. 17th at home surrounded by friends and family in West Union, SC. Charles was a WWII Vet and proudly served in the 9th Division of the U.S. Army. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the 47th Infantry, which successfully took the Bridgehead at Remagen in tact. He spent his 19th, 20th and 21st birthdays fighting for his country and participated in the liberation of Belgium. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge and N. R. A. He was a generous supporter of Foothills Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Seneca, SC. Loved by all he is survived by daughters Charlene Farrell (late Boyd), Ginny Siano-Eck (John), son Steve (Mary), and grandchildren, Steve Jr., (Nina), Jacqueline Siano-Montvidas (Michael), Jennifer Siano, Susan Siano, 4 great-grand children, sister Lillian Martin (late Nicholas), sister-in-law Jean Siano (late Philp) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred V. Siano, brothers Clarence (late Mary) and Philip. Visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday October 23rd from 3:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral service Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, IL. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to F. C. P.
