Eugene A. "Gene" Kleczewski
Age 66, late of New Lenox, formerly of Orland Park, IL. passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. Adoring husband of Agnes nee Patane; dear step-father of William (Carolyn) Hackett, Mary (James) Damiani, Joseph, John, and Thomas Hackett; cherished step-grandfather of Sarah, Lauren, Anna Marie, Anthony, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Leah; and great-grandfather of Adina; loving brother of Michael (Ruth) Kleczewski, David Kleczewski, and John (Valerie) Kleczewski; fond uncle of Matthew (Angela), Nathan (Victoria), Isaiah, Neil, Robert (Robin), James (Andrea); and great-uncle of Nicholis, Brandon, Jack, and Luke. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents Anton and Julia Kleczewski, and sister Barbara Tyloch. He was a member of St. Jude Church in New Lenox, former Franciscan Brother for 25 years, avid gardener, enjoyed the outdoors, and was well traveled. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service Friday, January 17, 2014 with chapel prayers at 11:30am, to St. Jude Catholic Church for a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Park Lawn Home in Oak Lawn, IL.
