Age 89, of Frankfort formerly of South Holland, passed away April 27, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Carol nee Keenan; loving father of the
late Mark Slade, Marcianne (Robert) Crestani, David Slade and Paul (Margaret) Slade; nurturing grandfather of Julie, Karen, John, Nick, Michael, Eric, Kevin, Patrick and Catherine. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Elizabeth Slade. Gordon was a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort, IL 60423, Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 from 4 until 8pm. Funeral service Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trial, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
