James A. Price

Age 78, lifelong Lockport resident, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Kay nee Ayers; loving father of Kirk (Darla) Price and Jeff (Sandy) Price; cherished grandfather of Brett and Leslie Schantz, and Phillip Price; and great-grandfather of Cooper Rushing; also survived by Jeannine Kazmiercak. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Grace Price nee Gibson. Jim was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lockport and, longtime member of the Masonic Lodge #538, social member of the American Legion Post #18 in Lockport, and retired from Material Service in Lockport after more than 40 years of dedicated service. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441, Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2-7 PM. Funeral service Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Braceville-Gardner Cemetery, Braceville, IL.
