Mr. Joseph G. Hebbard, Sr.

Joseph G. Hebbard Sr., Age 81, resident of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Dowagiac, MI and Frankfort, IL passed away on May 15, 2018. He is survived by his wife Nedra (nee Nelson); sister Clare (Arthur) Hoolsema; sons Joseph (Donna) Hebbard, Craig Liston; and daughters Pamala Walsh, Patricia (David) Ore, Theresa Pais, Vicki (Rick) LeGrett and Gina (James) Foote. Beloved Papa to Murphy Hebbard, Mitchell Hebbard, Ryan Liston, Michael (Melanie) Walsh, Colleen (David) Niedzwiecki, Kelsey Walsh, Katherine Walsh, Kacie Walsh, Lauren (Ryan) Swanberg, Brea Pais, Joshua LeGrett, Nathaniel (Delilah) LeGrett, Louis (Jordan) LeGrett, Sophia Foote and Abigail Foote; 4 great-grandchildren and counting; and uncle of Sheryl Hoolsema and Julie Hoolsema.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Cecelia (O'Brien) Hebbard and daughter Tina Hebbard.
Joseph was a proud serviceman in the Navy from 1957-1961 stationed aboard the U.S.S. Hancock as a Structural Aviation Mechanic. He was a long-time member of Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 73 and a former owner of Ryan's Pub in Frankfort, IL. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson with the Ridgewood Motorcycle Club and sharing his love for Sister Lakes, MI with his family and friends.
The family will welcome friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
