88, of Monticello, IN, formerly of Tinley Park, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2015. Leonard was born in Chicago, IL to the late Yoref and Maria Faifer. Beloved husband of the late Dolores V. (nee Suchoski); Loving father of Susan (Terrence) Hartford, Christine Crosby, Deborah Guerra, Judy (Larry) Sands, Laurie (Tom) Chakonas, and Joseph (Erika) Faifer. Cherished grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of over 20. Leonard was a World War II Navy Veteran. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 3 - 8PM. Funeral service Tuesday, May 19, 2015 with prayers at 11:30AM in the funeral home chapel to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon.
