Age 87, of New Lenox passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday, August 2, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Peg Balbinot nee Luther; loving father of: Judy (Ron) Robinson, June Balbinot, and Larry Balbinot; cherished grandfather of: Bobbie Hart, Kellie (Mike) Davis, Dale (Kim) Robinson, and Corrie (Jon) Sprague; great-grandfather of: Stephanie, Katie, Gage, Shayla, Libby, Nick, Bradley, Audrey, and Claire; and great-great grandfather of: Carson. Also survived by his brother-in-law: Lester Luther; and grand-daughter-in-law: Becky Robinson. Louis was preceded in death by his parents: Louis Sr., and Mae Balbinot; siblings: Jack (late Marian) Balbinot, Joseph Balbinot, and Elizabeth Erickson; and grandson: Scott Robinson. Louis was a Navy Veteran, Founding member of the New Lenox VFW, and member of the 1st Christian Church in Joliet. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 3-8pm. Funeral Service Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
