Martin "Marty" P. Flanagan Jr.
Age 88, of Oak Lawn, formerly of New Lenox, passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, on Friday, August 9, 2013. Loving father of: Maureen (Greg) Broderick, Colleen Flanagan, Martin III (Karla) Flanagan, Thomas (Patti) Flanagan, and Daniel (Ronna) Flanagan; cherished grandfather of: Patrick (Elisabeth), Brianne, and Michael Broderick, MaryPat, Blaine, Bryce, Andrew, Dylan, Colin, and Connor Flanagan; and great-grandfather of: Jacob and Joshua Broderick; and his dear friend and companion, Gloria Arbuckle. He was also survived by Lois Flanagan, his former wife of 33 years. Marty was a real estate business developer who started the 2nd Bank in New Lenox, former village trustee in New Lenox, member of the New Lenox Lions, and proud member of the HOG. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 3-9pm. Funeral Service Friday, August 16, 2013 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
