Michael D. Stanton Sr.,
Age 72, of New Lenox, IL., passed away on Monday, November 18th, 2013. Beloved husband of Lydia nee Disabato; loving son of Donald Smith and the late Ruth Girod; dearest father of Michael Jr. (Terri), Timothy (Kelly), late Brian, Tammy (Michael) Congelosc, William (Traci) Frazier, and Mikey (Crystal) Frazier; cherished papa of grand and great-grandchildren; dear brother of James (Susan) Smith, and the late Marguerite Kelly. Michael was the owner of Stanton's Lock & Key in New Lenox, and was an Army Veteran. He is a past worship master of the Elwood Masonic Lodge. Member of both New Lenox American Legion and Chamber of Commerce, original member of the US Sky Marshals, and former Deputy Sheriff in Wisconsin, and member of the Scotish Rite, Valley of Danvile. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM.
