Richard Danek
Age 69, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016. Beloved husband of Valerie nee Burrer; loving father of Heather (Kevin) McHale and Keith (Susan) Danek; cherished grandfather of Jaden and Tivon Danek, and Reannon, Shane, Tessa, and Kellen McHale; dear brother of George (Carol-Ann) Danek, Christopher (Peg) Danek, and Veronica (George) Belleau. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Emilie Danek, and sister Carol Ann Danek. Rich was a History teacher at Rich South and Marist High school's, and coached football and basketball. He was a member and volunteer at St. Francis Woods in Frankfort, and enjoyed traveling and visiting national parks. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral service, Friday, March 4, 2016 with chapel prayers at 9:15 AM to St. Francis Woods, 920 W. St. Francis Rd., Frankfort, IL 60423 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL.
