Richard "Rich" T. Connolly
Age 51, resident of New Lenox, IL., passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012. Beloved son of Richard J. Connolly and Nancy A. nee Mair; loving husband of Theresa Connolly; cherished father of Justin and Jillian Hastings; dear brother of Deborah (Lee) Gernes, Sharon (Brian) McCarthy, Sheila (John) Velcich, late Thomas (Julie) Connolly, and Jim (Terri) Connolly; and proud uncle of Meghan, Tony, Allison, Jackey, Julianne, Erin, Jodi, Adam, Jake, Lauren, and Luke. Rich was a 27 year member of Local Electricians # 134 and member of the Oak Forest Coin Club. He was a coach for the Tinley Park Fox's Women's Softball Team and avid bowler. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 3-9PM. Funeral Service Friday, December 14, 2012, chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Theresa Connolly Benefit Fund at First Midwest Bank in New Lenox, appreciated.
