Age 77, resident of Frankfort, formerly of Sycamore, and South Holland, IL., passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Danan); loving father of Laura (Dean) Slager and the late Michael Bayr; cherished grandfather of Sara and Ethan Slager; dear brother of Lorraine (late George) Kempel. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Regina (nee Soky) Bayr. Robert was a United States Army Reserves Solider, avid photographer and enjoyed playing the guitar. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment private.
