61, of New Lenox, formerly of Chicago, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Beloved husband of Joyce Bean (nee Hernandez); loving father of Katie Bean, Kellen Bean, and Michael Bean; cherished grandfather of Hunter and Brooke; dear brother of Ronald Bean, Terrence Bean, Sharon Carroll, Donna Bean, Dennis Bean, Thomas Bean, and Patricia Maloblocki. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Elizabeth Bean (nee Karski); and his beloved brother Gary Bean. Robert was a union carpenter, formerly employed for Turner Construction and recently retired from ECI (Executive Construction Incorporated) as Superintendent. He enjoyed listening to music. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 3-9PM.
