Age 90, lifelong resident of Lockport, IL., passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center of Joliet. Robert was born on August 30, 1926 to the late Pedro and Cora Marquez (Giddens). Robert is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Dolores Marquez. He was preceded in death by his siblings, late Kenneth (late Sally) Marquez, late Mary (late Paul) Rodriguez, late Herbert Marquez, late William Marquez, and the late Joseph (late Doris) Marquez. Robert retired from A&S Steel in Lockport. The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4-8 PM.
