Age 57, of Elwood, IL., formerly of Riverdale, IL., passed away on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 in Joliet. Beloved husband of Sheila nee Richardson; loving father of Nicholas (Kenna Kowalski); dear brother of Alan (Sue) Buffano and David Buffano; and brother-in-law of William, Diana (Laurence), Laura, and Denise (Patrick); Uncle Buck to Maeve; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, and cherished Boo-ya of Marlie, Alaina, and Eliza. Ron was an Honorary Alumni of Mt. Carmel High School. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 Wednesday, November 6th, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, November 7th, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
