Age 55, of Lockport, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Beloved father of Jami (Brian) Kantor, Sam Jr. Egbert, and Ryan Grooms; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Ian, Riley, and Trevor Kantor, and Cameron Grooms; dear brother of Brady Jensen and Vern Blume. Sam enjoyed the outdoors, and was avid fisherman. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, on Monday, October 8th, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until time of Funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment Lockport City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Egbert family appreciated.
