Tally Giacone

Tally George Giacone, age 88, resident of New Lenox, IL passed away on April 13, 2014. Beloved husband of Angeline (Angie) nee Sbarra. Loving father of Natalie (Michael) Lenz. Proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Christopher, Steven and Matthew. Devoted son born in Chicago, Illinois to his late parents Baldasso (Ben) Giacone and Grazia (Grace) Fazio. Also survived by his loving sisters-in-law Betty Pactwa and Johanna Sbarro, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his siblings Joseph Gercone, Amadeo (Deo) Gercone, Carl F. Crifassi, Jack Crifassi, Rose (nee Crifassi) Pickert, and Crucificia (Josephine) Gercone-Rockford; and brothers-in-law Jerry Pactwa, Nick Sbarro, and sister-in-law Rose (late Bill) Barro. A special thank you to his compassionate doctors and nurses of Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois, and to Hospice Home Care in Joliet, Illinois. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
