Age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016. Beloved husband and best friend of 45 years to Mary (nee Zapatka); loving brother of Nancy Vargo; fond brother-in-law of Patricia Austin, Barbara Mellon, Kathleen (Michael) Neely, and Edward (Alberta) Zapatka; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews and his beloved pets Piper and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Lorraine Turner (nee Johnson), brother Robert Turner, and mother-in-law Sophie Zapatka. Tom was a United States Army Veteran and retired from IBEW Local 461. He was a member of the American Legion Post 13 and member of the Lockport Moose. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Monday, December 19th, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
