Diana F. Airoldi nee Buck
Age 72, of New Lenox, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. Beloved wife of John Airoldi; loving mother of Joanna Airoldi and Carol Cupp; cherished grandmother of John (Sarah) Cupp; and great-grandmother of Rylan, Kayla, and Rebecca Cupp; dear sister-in-law of Patricia Buck and Linda (Thomas) Adelmann; and aunt to Kathleen (Scott) Parzych; and host of many nieces and nephews; also survived by her best friends Bonnie DiDominic and Betty Beebe. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Katherine Buck nee Kempf; one brother Nicholas Buck; and grand-daughter Carrie Cupp. Diana retired from the New Lenox school district # 122 after 30+ years of teaching, was a member of the Joliet Area Retired Teachers Association and of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of the Beta Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Friday, September 26, 2014 with chapel prayers at 11:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lymphoma Foundation or American Heart Association, appreciated.
