Lillian Gezik nee Drozd
Age 87, of New Lenox, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014. Beloved wife of Frank Gezik; loving mother of James (Susheila) Gezik and Dawn (Jim) Rodeghier; cherished grandmother of Amanda (Kurt) Gustafik, Kendra Gezik, Caitlin Rodeghier, Tom Rodeghier, and Rachel Rodeghier; step-grandmother of James Jr. (Konni), Amy (Peter), Becah (Thomas) and Rose; great-grandmother of Seth, Haley, and Lillian; and great step-grandmother of Natalie, Cameron, Landon, and Hunter; dear sister of Edward (late Elizabeth) Drozd and Chester Drozd. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Sophie Drozdz; and siblings Joseph (late Mary) Drozd, Leonard (late Clara) Drozd, Stanley (Clara) Drozd, and Irene Suhs. Lillian was a member of St. Jude Church in New Lenox. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 3-9 PM. Funeral Saturday, December 27, 2014 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 214 W. 2nd St., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
