Sue Ellen Smith nee Spittal
Age 73, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Beloved wife of Don "Smitty" Smith; loving mother of Karl Smith, Paul (Peggy) Smith, Amy (Nathan) Ryan, and Rick Smith (Denise Issert); cherished grandmother of Joshua and Luke Ryan; dear sister of Bruce (Cherie) Spittal, Paul Spittal, and Adaire Hendrickson. Sue was preceded in death by her parents William and Anabel Spittal. Sue graduated from Lewis University with honors in Business, and retired from Argonne National Laboratory after 40 years of dedicated employment. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association appreciated.
