Lillian M. Salzwedel nee Schoeling

Age 101, passed away May 28, 2012 at Prairieview Lutheran Home Faith Place in Danforth, IL. Lillian was born August 2, 1910 to Henry and Sophie Schoeling. She married Walter Salzwedel on June 24, 1931. They farmed together in Frankfort Township until 1968. For many years, Lillian was a waitress at restaurants in Frankfort and New Lenox. She was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Frankfort, and enjoyed playing pinnacle with family and friends. Lillian is survived by her sister: Clara (Wilbert) Manzke, sister-in-law: Malinda (Eiskamp) Schoelin and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, sisters: Minnie (Herman) Kummelhne, Marie (Herbert) Schmaedeke, brothers: Fred, William, Otto, Arthur, and Richard Schoeling.
