Nancy G. Hoag (nee Gentile)

Age 78 of New Lenox passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital, Palos Heights, IL. Nancy was born in Hastings, NE to the late James D. and Emily A. (nee Losasso) Gentile. Beloved wife of Richard R. Hoag; loving mother of Caroline Nelson and James (Marcie) Hoag; cherished grandmother of Benjamin Rose, Nathan Rose, and Alyssa Hoag. Nancy retired from the Village of Tinley Park. She also shared her love of teaching, with the children of Homer Community Consolidated School District 33C, as a substitute teacher. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 10:00am until time of chapel prayers at 12:30pm. Then to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
