Nestor Jasso Perez, 85 of Steger went home to the Lord, Jan 11, 2023 and is now reunited with his wife Delia Garcia Perez who preceded him in 2018. Survived by his loving family, children: Corina (Tom) Schelfo of Cedar Lake, IN, Daniel Perez of Chicago Heights, Norma (Joseph) Nakvos of Chicago Heights, Michael (Julie) Perez of Shorewood, Jo Ann (Thomas) Brannigan of Mokena; twelve grandchildren: Crystal, Danny (Amber) Perez, Danni Jochebed Perez; Thomas, Breandan, John, Dylan Brannigan; Carly (Jeremiah), Joey (Amber) Nakvos; Zachary(Ashley) Peterson Perez, Emma, Benjamin Perez; Great-grandchildren: William Peterson Perez, Elena, Emilio Nakvos, Emelia Perez, and Anthony Nakvos, and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Lupita (late Remigio) Ramirez, late Emma (late Robert) Hanna, Virginia (Servando) Vidal. Nestor was born to the late Guadalupe and late Angelita (Jasso) Perez in Austwell, Texas on Jan. 10, 1938. He was raised in Lynwood and graduated Bloom Township High School class of 1957. Delia and Nestor were married in April of 1960. He worked 45 years for Ford Motor Stamping Plant as a Lead Tool and Die Maker. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 15, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Jan. 16, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way in Frankfort.
