Nicholas Fiorillo Jr.
Age 78, a resident of Westchester, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. Beloved husband of 57 years to Carole (Badovinac); loving father of Joanne (Stephen) Longmire and Cheryl Poper (fiancé Arthur Faje); cherished grandfather of Nicholas Poper, Daniel Longmire, and Michael Longmire; dear brother of Anna (late Charles) Littleton, Jeannie (Kenneth) Kanwischer, and Susie (late Joseph) Pasieta; fond brother-in-law of Marilyn (late Karl) Kurtz; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas Sr. and Anna Fiorillo (DiFiore), son-in-law John Poper, sibling’s Dominick (late Jane) Fiorillo, Richard (late Jacqueline) Fiorillo, and Frank Fiorillo, father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Angeline Badovinac, brother-in-law Edward (late Nancy) Badovinac, nephew Joey Kurtz, and great-nephew Jay Vana. Nick enjoyed golfing and attending casino trips with his wife Carole and sister-in-law Marilyn. He touched many lives throughout his years, and was often referred to as “Grandpa” or “2nd father”. His kind smile, laughter, and generosity will always be remembered and never forgotten. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org would be appreciated. Wearing Masks and Social Distancing are mandatory for all in attendance.
