Nicholas "Nick" Fisher, age 88 of Frankfort, IL. Loving husband of the late Cornelia (nee Pronk) for 59 years. Loving father of Linda (Bruce) Ryzewicz, Randy (Phyllis), Alan (Debbie), Candy (Peter) DeBartolo; dear grandfather to Rod (Terry) Strickland, Brenda (Matt) Daams, Brandon (Bethany), Alicia (Michael) Holland, Morgan (Robbie) Harling, McKea (Josh) Jones, Nicole, Rebecca (Jake) Oakes; dearest great-grandfather of Brittany, Justine, Chloe, Skyler, Jax, Van, and Aubrey. Preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Clara (nee Deephouse), step mother Tracey (nee Hutsing) and sister Marilyn (Larry) Routa; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a former employee of Waste Management for many years. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, October 3rd from 3-9PM. Funeral service Saturday, October 4th at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
