NORMAN L. ABDERHALDEN
Age 81, of Sullivan IL, passed away Wednesday, November 26th, 2014 at Mason Point in Sullivan, IL.
Norman is survived by his loving family, wife, Joyce Abderhalden (Oliver), children, Kimberly (Jeff) Lindgren, Scott (Judy) Abderhalden, Linda (Tony) McCormick, Lisa (David) Culp, Jim (Cheriann) Abderhalden, grandchildren, Shannon Kosiek, Stefan Lindgren Erik Abderhalden, Neils Abderhalden, Cameron McCormick, Caitlin McCormick, Daphne Hammes, Barclay Culp, Brianna Abderhalden, Jakob Abderhalden, great grandchildren, Callie Kosiek , Hawk Kosiek and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Helen Abderhalden (Brown), first wife, Nola Abderhalden (Mays), siblings, Ernest Abderhalden, Fida Bartholomew and granddaughter Brianna Culp.
Norman was a member of the Masonic Lodge #538 in Lockport and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was a former member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lockport and retired from Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont. Norman was also a volunteer at the Rialto Theatre in Joliet.
Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Masonic Lodge in Lockport or the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lockport would be appreciated.
