Ona R. Law

Ona Rae Law, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at her home in New Lenox. She is survived by her beloved husband Phillip John Law; children, Michael Law (Jennifer), Jennifer (William) Mullen; grandchildren, Haylee Law, Kyla Thompson, and Owen Thompson; sister Diana (Lawrence) Masek; sister-in-law- Patty Jankus and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Miller and Ona Jankus; step-father, George Jankus; and her two brothers, Lloyd Miller and Lloyd Jankus.

Ona was an avid antique and knick-knack collector. She enjoyed gardening in her beautiful yard and felt peace being near the water or in the mountains. She loved to dance and spend time with her friends, and adored her children and grandchildren with all her heart.

Services for Ona will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL, from 4-7PM. Services will continue the following day with a brief visitation from 9AM until the time of the funeral service 10:30. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Ona's name would be appreciated.
