Patricia L. Magercak

Patricia L. Magercak (nee Cleary) Age 84, of New Lenox, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at her home in New Lenox after a 21 year battle of ovarian cancer.

Patricia is survived by her loving family, her granddaughters, Nicole Torres, Kristen (Andrew) Novotny, and Michelle Torres, great granddaughters, Addison, Ava, and Alyssa Novotny; special niece, Kathy (Mark) Schuck, and special nephew Mark (Jean) Ksiazak and their families. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John J. Magercak (2020), her daughter RaeMarie Torres (2019), her parents Raymond and Mildred (nee Thomas) Cleary, and her three sisters.

Patricia was retired from Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox where she worked in housekeeping and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox. She was extremely family oriented and enjoyed every minute together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 3 – 5pm. Funeral services Monday, January 3, 2022 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
