PAUL R. DeVALK

Age 76 of Peotone, passed away on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Paul is survived by his loving family, wife, Jennie DeValk (Halloran), children, Thomas (Kimberly) DeValk, Lisa Crabtree, Julie (Cuyler) Brown, grandchildren, Kenneth (Trish) DeValk, Kevin DeValk, Heather DeValk, Elizabeth (Fiancee, Mick Gromley) Crabtree, Austin Crabtree, C.J. Brown, Harrison Brown, Palmer Brown, siblings, Irlene (Richard) Batzek, Leona (Donald) Jansen, Harry (Nancy) DeValk, brother-in-law, Paul Rozek and sister-in-law Patricia DeValk.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Anna DeValk (Grugel), siblings, John DeValk, Louise Rozek and Wesley DeValk.

Paul was and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dogs. He was a member of Local #150 Operating Engineers Union for 50 years.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Wednesday December 11th, 2019 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 AM and then to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 511 N. Conrad Street, Peotone, IL 60468 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private at St. Patrick Cemetery, Wilton Center, IL.
