PHILIP W. BUDNY

Age 80, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Philip is survived by his loving family, children, Ken (Ilene) Budny, Carin (Kerry) Richee, step-children, Sue (Terry) Boggs, Steve (Christy) Simpson, Donna (Ric) Castellanos, Dan (Erica) Simpson, Matt Simpson, brother, Don (Barb) Budny, son-in-law, Bruce Bozek and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Josephine Budny (Wisniewski), wife, Bernadine Budny (Thomas) and daughter Kim Bozek.

Philip was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Frankfort VFW Post #1493. He was a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort and the Lion’s Club as well.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Thursday, August 13th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423. Interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manteno Veteran’s Home or the Wounded Warriors would be greatly appreciated.
