Phyllis N. Harvey
(nee Howard)
Age 87, went home to be with the Lord August 22, 2014.
Survived by her loving children Frank J. (Jack) Jr., John J. (Jill), Debra Kljaich, Frances J. (Paul Fracaro), twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank J. (Jack) Sr. (1984), one son, Thomas F. (1982), her parents Jerome S. Howard, Jane R. (Fleming), Ethel M. (Kalb); four brothers, Howard and Charles Zingraf, Jerome (Jerry) and Benjamin Howard; four sisters, Adele, Adeline, Jane, and Juanita.
Phyllis was a Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR) sixth generation from both Samuel Howard and Stephen Jones. Phyllis was a life-long native of Lockport. She was a Republican Precinct Committee Woman for many years. She retired in 2002 from the Will County Clerk's Office. Phyllis was one of the founders and a lifetime member of St. John Vianney Church. She was also a CCD teacher for many years. Memorials to St. John Vianney Church would be appreciated.
Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service Saturday, August 30, 2014 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel Street, Lockport, IL 60441 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
